General

Where are my files stored?

Your files are stored on our secure servers and are available for your usage once you are registered. You can use the file manager to create the folders, manage files them and access them when needed.

Why do I need to sign up?

Due to legal reasons we can not allow anonymous uploads trough our system. But the membership is completely free for you, so there should not be any problem if you are planning to use our service in a disciplinary and legal way.

How long are my files stored for?

Your files are stored forever. We do not delete any videos, whether you watch them once per week or not.

How can I change a password for my account?

Your password can be changed in the setting once you log in.

What should I do if I forgot a password?

If you forgot your password you can request a new password to be sent to the email on the your account. Simply navigate to the following page and enter your email address. You will receive detailed instructions on how to restore your password.

Why my video has been deleted?

If your video has been removed, it has most likely voilated our terms of service. Please note that upon upload, you will be asked to accept the TOS, and as stated in the written agreement, we reserve the right to remove any file, if one or more terms are infracted.

Privacy

Streamcloud's position torwards privacy

We at Streamcloud respect our visitors privacy at all times, and only collect informations if they are necessary to improve our service for you. To protect the rights of all our users, we collect all visitor-based informations anonymously, which means that your IP address will not be kept , therefore we can not perform any trace and/or identification process uniquely.

Are my account informations shared with third-parties?

Absolutely not. We do not share your membership informations with anybody, unless we receive a valid request by law enforcement authorities, such as a subpoena or court order. We are further prohibited to access users personal files, unless there is a urgent reason to do so.

Do you keep access logs of watched videos by visitors?

We do not. Streamcloud is a platform that allows people to share their private videos and we do not keep any logs whatsoever regarding the use of videos. In some cases the title of a video may already contain personal informations, which we must respect at all times.

Do you keep informations on uploaded files?

Yes, we are forced by common laws and regulations to keep such informations saved in order to comply with requests by law enforcement agencies. Please note that in respect of national and foreign laws, this step is absolutely mandatory, and all major web services such as Twitter and Facebook handle these inquiries in a similar manner.

Videos

What files can I upload and store with your service?

You can upload any files that meet our Terms and Condition. You will find a list of the allowed file extensions on our upload form.

Amount of files and allowed upload size?

You upload any amount of files you would like. The allowed size per each file upload is 1 Gigabyte or 1024 Megabyte.

Can I upload several files at once?

Yes, you can upload up two 10 files at the same time, using our multiple-file Uploader. Select this option in your member control panel.

How can I arrange and manage my files?

You can organize all your files using our file manager which very easy to navigate.

How can edit a file?

You can delete, add and change a file with the icons to the right of each file.

How do I share my files?

Copy the URL you receive after a successful upload. Share this link by Facebook, Twitter, Email, etc.

FTP

How can i upload files using FTP?

After logging in, you can enable FTP upload on the My Account page. You will be given all the necessary ftp login credentials.

My FTP access dont work, the client rejects username/password.

After you have enabled FTP access, you need to wait up to 30 minutes before your login becomes active.

I uploaded files using FTP, but they dont appear in my account.

Please note that it can take up to 10 minutes until your files are processed and visible in your account.

What application is recommended to upload files?

If you are looking for a free powerful ftp client, we recommend using Filezilla FTP.
